6100-S Retail Barcode Verifier

The 6100-S Retail Barcode Verifier is specifically designed to inspect small linear barcodes with a maximum length (including quiet zones) of 69 mm or 2.7 inches. These barcodes typically appear on consumer products at retail points of sale, pharmaceutical items, or products requiring scanning in healthcare settings. Common barcode types that the device can verify include: EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A, UPC-E, Code 39, Code 128, HIBC, GS1 DataBar, GS1-128, CIP 39, and Laetus Pharmacode* – meeting diverse needs in manufacturing, label printing, packaging, and printing workshops.

*To verify Laetus Pharmacode, users need to add specialized software.

This device supports continuous scanning, allowing for rapid collection of multiple readings across the entire barcode height, ensuring compliance with ISO/IEC requirements. Users simply place the device on the barcode, press the trigger, and slide – within less than a second, hundreds of accurate inspection results can be obtained.
