MIFARE DESFire EV2 (MF3D(H)x2) is a smart card CPU in the MIFARE DESFire family, with an ISO/IEC 14443 Type A RF interface, EEPROM memory of 2 kB / 4 kB / 8 kB, data transfer rates of 106 / 212 / 424 / 848 kbit/s, Common Criteria EAL5+ security certification, and backward compatibility with MIFARE DESFire EV1 and MIFARE DESFire D40 (MF3ICD40).
