The 125Hz thick Proximity card is a plastic card that uses an integrated antenna and radio waves to communicate with a card reader. Proximity cards are read-only cards, unable to record or erase information on the card. The data stored on the card is typically 4 to 10 digits. Proximity cards are often used as ID cards, employee cards, key cards... very convenient for entry and exit, saving time and eliminating the need to swipe the card.
