Operating Principle

A metal detector gate typically consists of 3 main components:

– Technical box:

Usually, there are two boxes located on either side of the gate, equipped with sensor eyes that collect and send data to the central control unit.

– Controller:

Programmed with different reactions related to the data sent from the technical box. This analysis process is very fast, with almost no delay, so the results are sent to the alarm device.

– Alarm device:

A loudspeaker emits an alarm sound or a signal light, depending on the environment and sensitivity. The results from the central control unit will be reflected through the signals provided by the alarm device. Currently, alarm devices are often integrated into the controller, so they are usually classified as part of the central control unit.
