Hitag1 Hitag 2 smart card is a contactless transponder operating at 125 kHz, transmitting data and receiving power via RF link, with no internal battery. Hitag 1 has 2 kbit non-volatile memory organized as 64 pages x 4 bytes; Hitag 2 has 256-bit memory (128-bit user data and 128-bit control data/secret memory) organized as 8 pages x 4 bytes. Both have 10-year non-volatile data retention and 100,000 erase/write cycles.
