Printable ATA5577 125KHz LF blank card for hotels uses the original Atmel T5577 chip, 125KHz frequency, Read/Write mode, 330-bit memory, PVC material sized 85.6x54x0.88mm, white unprinted, read distance up to 50mm (depending on antenna geometry).

The original T5577 chip has no pre-programmed ID, so an ID must be written to the card before reading. The chip is rewritable and supports writing in 125KHz ID format and H ID WG 125KHz format. The card cannot be read before the chip is programmed.

The ATA5577 is a contactless read/write identification IC (IDIC) for applications in the 125kHz or 134kHz frequency band. A single coil connected to the chip serves as the power supply and bidirectional communication interface for the IC. The antenna and chip combined form a transponder or tag. The 363-bit EEPROM on the chip (11 blocks, each 33 bits) can be read and written block by block from the base station (reader). Data is transmitted from the IDIC (uplink) by load modulation, performed by reducing the RF field with a resistive load between the Coil 1 and Coil 2 pins. The IC receives and decodes serial commands from the base station (downlink) encoded as a bit string with 100% amplitude modulation pulse-interval encoding (OOK). The blank card has no printed content. Many customers order blank cards in large quantities and print them with their own printer to save costs. Typically, an overlay laminate layer should be added over the blank card, after which the customer can print on it. Supports programming to EM (Manchester) format or any other custom format.
